Washington State was at about 200 wineries about a decade ago (now over 650);
of the wineries you mentioned in (1.), only Columbia Crest is actually in the Columbia Valley AVA; and
parts of the Columbia Valley can average 6-8 inches of rain per year. (It&#039;s a BIG A.V.A.)

I have read your blog and only want to see mostly accurate information presented on Washington State wines/wineries. Thanks for trying. There are folks here in Washington who have pathetic &quot;wine&quot; blogs and I don&#039;t want to see you join them.
